He has class, beautiful poise and posture, is 166 cm and has a beautiful mane and tail. He is light in his movements and has a very good character. A ‘golden character’ as they say. He is a product of proven bloodlines with his sire ‘preferent’ Oege who produced 70% ‘ster’ mares. Remmelt is always pleasant to handle, willing to learn, and is energetic. Under saddle and in harness he shows a lot of willingness to work. In dressage he was graded Z2, and he can measure up against the KWPN national top horses. In harness he is very impressive and in the Friesian gig he is outstanding. In 1995 he was unbeaten champion in jumping competitions and won the Jan Timmerprijs prize leaving the rest of the field miles behind. Remmelt has proven himself as a real all round sporting horse. His scores at the stallion test were walk 6.5, trot 8, canter 7, rideability 7, long reins 8, harness 6, elegance 8.5, character 9, stable manners 10, tranability 9. In 1996 he was accepted on his progeny and the jury was making note of the beautiful heads and good front in his foals. They were light in movement with particularly good movement in the shoulders.
