Doaitsen 420 is a very impressive, royal stallion, with very good movements and is well conformed. He has a very nice trot by which the hind legs are used extensively. He was the biggest stallion of his year and is known for his long forelegs and his movements are spectacular and very promising. His looks are greatly impressive with a noble head and with a lot of presence. His walk is long and strong and his trot of good length, with a lot of height and energy. The canter is balanced and rhythmical. His tremendous willingness coupled with high trainability gives this stallion a great future.
According to the committee that judged this stallion for his licensing he was given 7.6 for walk, 7.8 for trot, and 6.9 for canter, points which gave him the overall score of a high 82.50 points. After the test the jury spoke highly of him and hence this stallion began his first breeding season with a 1st premium.
This son of Wander comes out of a line from Duhoux from Hindeloopen. The mother was classified ‘model’ and also was one of her sisters. The grandmother was preferent. The jury was of the opinion that this stallion can be of great value to his breed. This promise was fulfilled in 2005 when he had the highest index of producing first class foals. In Kootwijk, Silkevan ‘t Speijksbosch was declared the best filly foal of the show. Also Rixt Vrouwkje and Pieter L were champion foals in Drachten. Pierre van de Olde Moate was the best colt in Hengelo. Doaitsen 420 is also the sire of Tibbe.
Doaitsen 420 is very good to ride and is presented by Marijke Folmer in M dressage. In time to come will be competing in Z dressage competition. He was Reserve Champion 2009 and in Leeuwarden he had the most fillies at the Mare Selection.
